He is Risen!

He is alive!

He is alive!

Yesterday we had a really beautiful day to prepare the church for our Easter Sunday services. Although there were quite a few of us in the church yesterday morning to do flower arranging it was still fairly quiet and tranquil – and despite the hot sun, it was still cool and refreshing in the early part of the morning, while being ever mindful that our Lord was still laying silently in the tomb, (or was He?) we will never know. Even so, the church is now filled with swathes of white and yellow flowers with which to celebrate our Risen Lord.

Revd Carolyn was quietly buzzing around the church setting up for today and made time to go around and look at everyone’s efforts. She said that she was delighted with the arrangements and wishes to thank all the people who so generously provided the flowers and who gave up their time to make the church look so lovely… I think there are some Easter bunnies around the church and there is definitely an Easter Egg or two lurking around somewhere. So just enjoy the services and if you cannot make it to church today, here are most of the arrangements for you to view at your leisure and for your pleasure – All Hail! The Lord is Risen Today.
