Bishop Peter Reflections on Remembrance Sunday

Good morning,

Remembrance Sunday will feel very different this year, but I hope you still find a way to remember those who serve in our armed forces and those who have suffered or died in the service of their country.

We will be live streaming 2 services this morning on Facebook, a Eucharist at 9.30am and a short act of Remembrance from inside church at 10.50am. Please do log in or watch a little later on this website. I attached Bishop Peter (The acting Bishop of Chelmsford) with some reflections on Remembrance Sunday. Please do watch this as you prepare for our worship today.

Although I cannot invite anyone in to join in the worship this morning, I will be opening the church from 11.15am for you to come in for private prayer or to lay a wreath at the memorial window. If you do come in please either check in using our QR code with your Test&Trace app, or write your name and phone number on the attendance list. Please wear a face mask,  use the hand wash provided and keep your distance from one another in order that we remain Covid safe.

At 5.30pm Rev. Diana will be leading us in Evening Prayer.

May God bless you

Rev. Carolyn
