Hog Roast Special.
Church News | Sunday, 28 June 2015 |
Revd’s Anne and Carolyn sold in excess of a hundred tickets for the Hog Roast that was planned to start and 5.30pm. The weather didn’t look too promising, and although planed to hold in St Mary’s courtyard it had quickly become apparent that the courtyard would not be able to hold the amount of people who had bought tickets, so the hog roast spit was set up in the courtyard along with all the additions and people were advised to take their eats and sit out in the churchyard and on the green. Everyone seemed to enjoy they eats and it didn’t seem too long before we were being advised to set up our chairs, ready for our Songs of Praise on the Green.
Revd, Anne and Carolyn, thanked everyone for helping to make our hog roast special and for all the setting up and clearing away
