All due thanks and much praise must go to Glynis and her friend Jeanette for the wonderful Pentecost lunch they provided us with on Sunday. Glynis certainly showed us her artistic skills by providing us with a true Pentecostal setting for the meal she had organised. We were treated to a variety of quiches, salads and ham, steaming hot new potatoes and peas. For pudding we had apple and plum crumbles, strawberry and cream meringues with cream and custard – followed by tea and coffee… Ahh! Wonderful, thank you so much it was all very delicious and enjoyable. We must also thank all the people who kindly helped clear the tables, wash up and put away. Many thanks once again to Glynis and Jeanette for all your hard work. Revd Carolyn.
