What a great triumph our Autumn Fayre turned out to be… There were stalls of all kinds selling toiletries, books, cakes, knitwear, greeting cards and preserves, there were also games and toys for all the family to enjoy. The lunches were great, with a variety of hot, yummy soups, rolls and sandwiches. And the puddings!...... Well, they were just something else.
Everyone worked very hard to make the Fayer enjoyable. Bishop John opened the fayre at 11.30am and it was non-stop until it closed at 3.00pm after an exciting raffle call.
The Autumn Fayer raised almost £1,200 and Carolyn our vicar thanks everyone who helped make the day such a huge success.
Not just financially of course, but for the fun, fellowship and joy it created for all the parishioners and people of Broomfield.
