A hymn for our Morning Worship

It is a great spiritual tradition in Christianity to use the holy name of Jesus as a mantra to help us to enter into a prayerful state.
Some people use the 'Jesus prayer': Lord Jesus Christ, son of the living God, have mercy on me a sinner.
Our trust in Jesus to transform our lives is the rock on which we build our faith. His compassion, healing and love are the foundation of our lives. Make time this week to concentrate your focus on Jesus, say his name, over and over, just for a few minutes before saying Morning and Evening Prayer. See if just saying his name makes you feel closer to Jesus.
